W Center Staff -- Individuals employed are chosen not only for their educational achievements and training but also for their previous experience in the early childhood field. Hildebrandt Learning Centers follows the employment guidelines of the PA Department of Public Welfare including state police and child abuse clearances. Curriculum -- Our center's curriculum is designed to meet the whole needs of the child (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, self-help skills) in accordance with Best Practice guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our NAEYC accredited center also utilizes PA educational standards and outcomes of young children as the foundation for teacher planned and directed in-depth studies and projects. Nutrition -- Breakfast and afternoon snack are provided by the center for all children except those not able to partake of table food. Lunch is provided by Dining Services at Landis Homes. Menus are developed and monitored by a registered dietitian. Ages: The center cares for children from 6 weeks through 5 years. Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. |
