This fund helps meet the needs of residents whose financial resources are insufficient to cover the cost of personal care services or healthcare services.

The Caring Endowment Fund was created in 2002 and is a fund that keeps giving year after year.  The interest earned on the principal is used to cover the cost of benevolent care while the principal remains intact.

The Forward in Faith Endowment builds a strong foundation and ensures a stable future for an exciting and dynamic lifelong learning program at Landis Homes. The Financial Aid Fund assists Adult Day Services clients by helping with attendance fees for persons unable to cover the full cost.

Gifts to this fund enhance the quality of care in The Heritage, a special care center for persons with memory loss. The Heritage Fund, created in memory of Dorothy Hollinger, expands the therapeutic music and art programs and providing educational and training opportunities to staff, families of residents and the broader community.

Providing financial support to qualified employees desiring to further their education in the allied health fields is the purpose of this fund. Priority is given to the nursing profession.

This fund is used to provide money for maintaining and renovating buildings and to purchase equipment.

Sometimes residents and others observe a need at Landis Homes or desire to match a gift to their own passions or the passion of a loved one. Examples include a tree planting, a park bench, piano, or a gazebo in a courtyard at Landis Homes. A special project designation request will need approval by the Vice President for Planning & Marketing before proceeding with a contribution. Families may contact the Gift Planning Services at 509-5490 to begin the approval process.
