Charitable Bequest in Will or Trust
A Charitable Bequest is a gift that comes from someone's estate either through their will or other trust documents. This could include a fixed dollar amount, a percentage of the estate, or the remainder of the estate after other specific gifts have been completed. The benefits for you are:
Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime.
You can modify your bequest if your circumstances change.

Individual Retirement Accounts, other qualified Retirement Plans are helpful vehicles for accumulating tax-deferred savings. You can avoid paying substantial taxes that would be due at your death by designating Landis Homes as beneficiary of your IRA.
Gifting a Life Insurance policy or Life Insurance Annuity which matures at death is accomplished by naming Landis Homes as a beneficiary on the beneficiary form. All accumulated earnings in the plan or annuity will be paid out tax free.
