Providing quality child care on the Landis Homes campus, operated by Bright Horizons.
Welcome to the Children’s Learning Center at Landis Homes which is operated by Bright Horizons. It is our pleasure to provide quality childcare on the Landis Homes campus. We believe our intergenerational program benefits persons of all ages as they interact, support and care for one another.
Center Staff — Individuals employed are chosen not only for their educational achievements and training but also for their previous experience in the early childhood field. Bright Horizons follows the employment guidelines of the PA Department of Public Welfare including state police and child abuse clearances.
Curriculum — Our center’s curriculum is designed to meet the whole needs of the child (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, self-help skills) in accordance with Best Practice guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our NAEYC accredited center also utilizes PA educational standards and outcomes of young children as the foundation for teacher planned and directed in-depth studies and projects.
