Watercolorist to Show in October

Debra L. Smith will show her most recent watercolors at Landis Homes on October 30. Born and raised in Lancaster County, Debra's interest in art began at an early age and continued through her school years and beyond. Early in her career she worked in graphite, moved into colored pencil and now devotes all her time to watercolor.
Debra holds Signature member status in the Philadelphia Watercolor Society (PWCS). She also has previously served as President and Vice President of the Village Art Association in Lititz. Debra has exhibited her award-winning work in numerous juried shows including the Longs Park Arts and Crafts Festival. Her paintings are part of the corporate collection of MBNA Bank of America, and private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
Debra, who lives in Lititz with her husband and children, is a member of Neffsville Mennonite Church.
The opening reception, to which the public is welcome, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30 in the Harvest View lobby and galleries. The works will continue to be on display through January 25, 2008. For more information, call 717-581-3935.
