August Art Reception to Feature Nature at Large

Photographer Don Ziegler, of Akron, will bring his most recent photographs to Landis Homes in August for an art exhibition. Ziegler attended Eastern Mennonite University, and did graduate studies at the University of Virginia.

Don and his wife Priscilla taught in the Congo and in the West Bank, before moving to Pennsylvania and raising their two children.

Don's exhibit will feature close-up images of items in nature, especially flowers and plants.

The opening reception, to which the public is welcome, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, in the Harvest View lobby and galleries at Landis Homes. The works will continue to be on display through October.

Violinist Amy Martin Burkholder will provide music during the reception.
