
Welcome to Hildebrandt Learning Centers. It is our pleasure to provide quality childcare on the Landis Homes campus. We believe our intergenerational program benefits persons of all ages as they interact, support and care for one another.

Ages: The center cares for children from 6 weeks through 5 years.
Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Center Staff
Individuals employed are chosen not only for their educational achievements and training but also for their previous experience in the early childhood field. Hildebrandt Learning Centers follows the employment guidelines of the PA Department of Public Welfare including state police and child abuse clearances.
Curriculum
Our center's curriculum is designed to meet the whole needs of the child (physical, social, emotional, cognitive, self-help skills) in accordance with Best Practice guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our center also utilizes PA educational standards and outcomes of young children as the foundation for teacher planned and directed in-depth studies and projects.
Classroom Enrollment/Capacity:
Infant (6 wks-12 mos) 8 children
Toddler (13-36 mos) 12 children
Preschool (37 mos-5 yrs) 30 children
Staff To Child Ratio
Infant 1 staff to 4 children
Young Toddler 1 staff to 5 children
Older Toddler 1 staff to 6 children
Preschool 1 staff to 10 children
Nutrition
Breakfast and afternoon snack are provided by the center for all children except those not able to partake of table food. Lunch is provided by Dining Services at Landis Homes. Menus are developed and monitored by a registered dietitian.
