May Art Reception to Feature Protected Flowers

An art reception featuring a Lititz artist will be held at Landis Homes in May. Linda Wohlberg will bring her latest watercolors to share with residents and the public at large. Linda, a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts, has been painting the beautiful native plants of the Appalachians for over 30 years.

Recently she has been inspired to create original painted "quilts", which are pieced together in a variety of ways, such as, woven paper and also dimensional mats. All Linda's works are original watercolor creations, using the finest pigments on archival 100% rag Bristol board.
Linda resides in Neffsville with her husband and two sons. She works in the Landis Homes dining services department.

The opening reception, to which the public is welcome, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, in the Harvest View lobby and galleries at Landis Homes. The works will continue to be on display through July.
