LEARNING & WELLNESS CENTER OVERVIEW
- Expand learning opportunities
- Promote all aspects of wellness
- Encourage community growth and interconnectedness
Located in the heart of campus and visible from Oregon Road, the new Learning and Wellness Center provides a much-needed front door to Landis Homes. It is our own version of Main Street—a bustling center of activity where connections flourish.
On the Main Floor, you will find the Owl Hill Bistro and lounge that will offer a new dining venue for residents and their guests, the Crossings Art Gallery, Crossings Salon & Spa, business center, bank, pharmacy and more. The High Foundation Auditorium provides additional classroom space for the Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning® classes and other educational and entertainment programs. Spiritual wellness will be encouraged in The Quiet Place, a series of small rooms for mediation and prayer.
On the Ground Floor, you’ll find the four-lane lap and therapy pool and a spa pool with natural lighting. The Fitness Center includes a state of the art cardio and strength training room with equipment designed for an active aging population and a Wellness Studio to support group classes.
The 103,000-square foot project, includes 22 residential living apartment and underground parking for those who live in the building.
“Connections: A Campaign for the Learning & Wellness Center” has been established to raise a minimum of $3.2 million for this important project. The project is estimated at $27 million that includes approximately $11 million for the Learning & Wellness Center.
