Executive Chef/West Culinary Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Implements and supports all culinary related programs to include resident dining, catering, retail, and all other dining functions
Responsible for menu development, inventory, ordering/purchasing, and food cost controls
Responsible for all food safety and sanitation programs
Insures compliance with all policies and procedures with emphasis on quality and attention to detail
Full cycle management, onboarding, training, development and growth of the culinary team
Serves as a liaison to dining and client leadership

Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary Arts degree – required
Servsafe certification – required
Five years of progressive culinary management experience – required
Expert knowledge of food and catering trends as well as creativity with plate presentation
Fine dining restaurant, hotel or country club culinary experience
Experience with high-touch customer service environments
Must be experienced with computers to include Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in the senior living setting – preferred
Contract managed service experience – a plus

Cook

Performs general tasks associated with hot and cold meal preparation and service including advanced food prep tasks, batch cooking and made-to-order cooking. Prepares and serves all food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations and established policies and procedures as directed by the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef. Must be at least 18 years of age. Is Serv Safe Certified or working toward certification within 9 months of hire. All shifts include every other weekend.

Full-time
10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 80 hours bi-weekly (West Kitchen)

Dining Services Assistant

Provides assistance in a variety of Dining functions including, but not limited to, general food preparation, meal delivery/service, clean-up and sanitation in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with established dining policies and procedures. Must be at least 16 years of age.  All shifts include every other weekend.

Part-time
East Kitchen
3:30 to 7:30 p.m., 32 hours bi-weekly
3:30 to 7:30 p.m., 24 hours bi-weekly
4 to 8 p.m., 24 hours bi-weekly
3:45 to 6:45 p.m., 18 hours bi-weekly
West Kitchen
6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every other weekend and 3 to 7 p.m. one day/week, 24 hours bi-weekly
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every other weekend and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. one day/week, 24 hours bi-weekly
3 to 7 p.m., 24 hours bi-weekly
6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 16 hours bi-weekly
