Today, Landis Communities announced the hiring of Dale Weaver as the organization’s first Vice President of Technology/Chief Technology Officer (CTO).  As the organization has grown, so has the use of various technologies.  In addition to team member reliance on IT and communications systems, the residents and clients served by Landis Communities are increasingly using independence-enabling and other technologies on an everyday basis.

Dale will be a member of the Leadership Team and provide strategic leadership and support of technology use throughout Landis Communities. He joins the organization after working the past six years at Brethren Village, first as Director of Technology, and more recently as VP of Facilities and Technology.  Prior to this, he worked for six years at Siemens Medical Solutions.

Weaver holds a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Grove City College and an MBA in Finance from Penn State University.  He and his wife Ashlee and their growing family live in Lititz. Ashlee is a Physician Assistant at WellSpan Family Medicine – Meadowbrook in Leola.

President/CEO Larry Zook looks forward to Weaver joining the team.  “Dale brings strong strategic leadership experience to Landis Communities and a passion for helping others understand and use technology in ways that enhance community life. We look forward to his contribution to our mission to serve the diverse needs and interests of older adults.”

Dale comments, “I am humbled to join the Executive Team at Landis Communities. I look forward to improving technology for residents and team members and to ongoing innovation within Senior Living. It is my goal to serve and lead a caring team that lives our values, strives for operational excellence, and is financially sustainable.”
