Yes. Three delicious meals are prepared and served daily by our culinary team, which includes dietitians and chefs.

Yes. Housekeeping and laundry are included in the base rate.

Yes. Personal Care at Landis Homes utilizes LPNs and Med Techs to administer medications and treatments for residents.

Yes. Residents have access to on-the-floor staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This means support is available whenever residents need assistance.

No. Applicants do not need to be current Landis Homes residents to be considered for Personal Care.

Each applicant who financially qualifies will be assessed to determine whether Personal Care is the best area to serve them. This includes a physical and cognitive screening to help place each person in the most appropriate household.

Yes. Couples can live together in Personal Care when care needs and accommodations allow.

This can be especially beneficial when one spouse needs more assistance than the other. Couples are able to remain together while knowing that support is available and their needs are being met in a safe, caring environment.

Our goal is for residents to remain in Personal Care as long as possible when their needs can be safely and appropriately met.

To help support residents over time, we partner with in-home services such as Landis at Home, palliative care, hospice care, and private duty nurses. If a higher level of care is needed, our team will work within the Landis Homes community to help place the resident where they can be best served, including Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing.

If a resident’s care needs increase, the Landis Homes team will reassess their needs and help determine the most appropriate next step.

Whenever possible, we look for ways to support residents in Personal Care for as long as it remains safe and appropriate. If a higher level of care becomes necessary, we work with the resident and family to explore options within the Landis Homes community, including Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing.
