Memorial Gifts honor the memory of someone special. Many people make an annual memorial contribution to remember the birthday or anniversary of a loved one who has passed away. Often families ask for memorial gifts to be given to Landis Homes in a funeral notice or obituary as a way of remembering loved ones. The Advancement Office will notify the family of your caring gesture without disclosing the gift amount.
The funeral home may assist you with the wording for an obituary but common wording is as follows: In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be given to The Landis Homes Caring Fund, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543.

An honorary gifts provides a way to recognize a special occasion in your life or in the lives of others. It is a gift that not only expresses appreciation, love and respect to a special living family member, friend, coworker or caregiver but also gives more abundant life to another. It is a gift which is always the right style and size, it does not take space nor does it gather dust. It is appropriate for graduations, engagements, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, births and special times to say ‘thank you.” The Advancement Office will notify the honoree of your kind gesture without disclosing the amount of the gift.
