Start by attending Imagine Life at Landis Homes. This informative seminar is a great introduction to Landis Homes, our community, and the lifestyle we offer. We discuss lifestyle, amenities, and take a deep dive into the financial questions.

Step 2

Take a Resident-Led Tour

See Landis Homes from a resident’s perspective. On a Resident-Led Tour, you’ll explore “Main Street,” see key areas of the community, and hear firsthand what it’s like to live here.

Step 3

Explore Retirement Living

Before scheduling a personal tour, we invite you to attend Explore Retirement Living, our annual open house at Landis Homes. Held on the third Saturday of October from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., this event offers an opportunity to tour a variety of accommodations, see different types of homes, and begin considering which option may be right for you.

Step 4

Complete the Application Process

When you’re ready, complete the application process. Some people choose to do this before their personal tour so they know which entrance fee they are approved for. Others prefer to schedule their personal tour first. Either approach is fine.

Step 5

Schedule Your Personal Tour

Once you’ve explored your options, contact the Residency Planning Department to schedule a personal tour. With more than 80 floor plans available at Landis Homes, we encourage you to do some research before scheduling your tour. Review the detailed rates sheets to compare pricing, square footage, and descriptions of each accommodation type. Then, use the campus map to become familiar with the locations of buildings, apartments, and cottages. Knowing which accommodations you’re most interested in will help us make the most of your personal tour. Because these tours often include visits to residents’ homes, we generally ask that you select up to two accommodations to view.
