The public is invited to an educational seminar “Guard Against Common Scans That Target Seniors” presented by Brian Roche on October 17, at 1:30 p.m. at West Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes.
Financial scams targeting seniors are so prevalent they’ve become the crime of the 21st century, according to the National Council on Aging. Frauds involve identify theft, Medicare, health insurance, prescription drugs, reverse mortgages, sweepstakes, home repairs, romance and investments.
