Amenities: Amenities include a general store, gift shops, pharmacy, libraries, art gallery, bank, multiple dining venues, woodworking shop, on-campus shuttle service, hair salon, chapels and much more.
The campus includes ponds, woods, resident gardens and a wetland area with hundreds of native plants and a nationally registered bluebird walk. There are Life Trail Fitness stations on the outdoor walking paths, as well as a gazebo and pavilion for social gatherings Pedestrian and bicycle paths offer easy access to a nearby restaurant, grocery store and farmers market. The historic towns of Lititz and Lancaster are within a few miles.
Wellness & Life Enrichment Programming:
A Wellness Task Force of residents and team members oversees a core plan for resident health and wellbeing. The Calvin G. and Janet C. High Learning & Wellness Center with a new indoor pool, fitness center, Owl Hill Bistro, and classroom areas opened in 2018.
Activities are designed to enrich and promote the spiritual, physical, social, intellectual, and occupational wellness of residents and residents are encouraged to participate in the planning of activities. Large and small group activities are planned for Residential Living, Personal Care, and Healthcare, including educational speakers, music groups, arts and crafts activities, worship services, fitness activities, and service projects.
We also offer many bus trips to local restaurants, including , concerts and events, garden tours, shopping, historical walking tours, and trips into Downtown Lancaster.
Clubs and Committees — Resident run social and activity clubs are a fantastic way to stay active in the community. These groups might share a common interest or a passion for current events. One thing is for sure, residents bond with their community and neighbors become close friends. Games or special interests include: Courtyard Railroad, Billiards, Bocce, Bingo, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, Table Games (Game Night), Quoits, Quilting Room, Music, Book Club, Ping-Pong, Walking, Golf & Tennis Outings

The Dakim Brain Fitness program is available to Landis Homes residents through Life Enrichment staff. Apps and computer programs that tease and train the brain are all the rage. Read more.
Pets: Landis Homes support visitation or ownership of pets. Pets are welcome in common buildings or common areas if they are on a leash or otherwise restrained.
