Landis Homes is committed to strictly following the standards and protocols of the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). You can click HERE for the information.
In accordance with regulatory guidelines, on June 1-2, 2020, Landis Homes will begin universal testing of Healthcare residents and team members. Testing will be conducted for both residents and team members simultaneously to provide the most accurate picture. Today began new restrictions on visitors to Landis Homes and the other parts of Landis Communities located at 1001 East Oregon Road. March 13 Additional Update: For the safety of all residents, Landis Homes is now restricting visitation in Personal Care and Health Care areas of Landis Homes. This means, except for end-of-life situations, visits will not be possible.

For the safety of all Landis Homes residents, extended protocols to limit the spread of flu and to prevent COVID-19 will begin on 3/11/2020. Extended flu season means we are protecting staff and residents from flu in addition to being proactive about potential future issues with Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Landis Homes is committed to being proactive as we protect residents and team members during this extended flu season as well with Pennsylvania’s first presumed cases of COVID-19. With this in mind, We are announcing the following requirements from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). As the situation changes, we will share additional information.
Do not come to campus if any of the following apply to you.
- Presence of any flu symptoms including fever, sore throat, body aches, chills, cough,

- Signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as a fever, cough, and sore throat.
- Has had contact with someone with or under investigation for COVID-19
