December 13, 2022
On 12/12/2022 a Personal Care team member tested positive for COVID-19. Contact tracing has been completed. Effected team members and residents will be tested per the guidance.
December 12, 2022
Since our last update. Three additional Healthcare team members have tested positive for COVID-19. Outbreak testing continues for Healthcare residents and team members.
December 9, 2022
Today, three additional Healthcare team members tested positive for Covid-19. All three team members are symptomatic at this time and quarantining. Outbreak testing for Healthcare residents and team members continues. Mitigation strategies continue in order to reduce risk to other residents and staff.
December 8, 2022
On Wednesday, one additional Healthcare resident tested positive for Covid-19 on outbreak testing and is asymptomatic. Due to all Healthcare households being affected by exposures, we have resumed routine testing for all Healthcare team members. Residents will also be tested per current guidance.
December 7, 2022
Over the past two days, two additional Healthcare team members have reported positive covid tests at home after developing symptoms. Those residents who may have been exposed will be tested and monitored for symptoms.
December 5, 2022
Since the last update, three team members and two residents have tested positive for Covid-19 in Healthcare. We are currently investigating outbreaks in Oregon, Ephrata, Lancaster, and Conestoga Households. It is advisable to wear a mask when visiting residents in these households and to always wear a mask in public areas of the Healthcare area.
November 29, 2022
One additional Healthcare resident tested positive for Covid-19 on Nov. 27th. This extends the outbreak that has been occurring in Ephrata House. Team members and residents are being tested on a regular basis per current guidelines. Special masks and other items are in use to reduce the risk of spread.
November 24, 2022
Four Healthcare residents have tested positive for Covid-19. In addition, one Healthcare team member has reported a positive test. Outbreak testing and mitigation strategies continue in Healthcare for Oregon and Ephrata houses and in personal care for Lititz and Aspen households.
November 17, 2022
On Nov. 16, 2022, one Healthcare resident tested positive for Covid-19 after developing symptoms. All other residents in that household who were eligible to be tested have tested negative. Strategies continue in order to reduce risk to other residents and staff.
November 11, 2022
A Healthcare team member has tested positive for Covid-19 while at work and has been sent home. Contact tracing reveals no significant risk of exposure to residents or staff.
November 10, 2022
Since the last report, two Personal Care residents have tested positive for Covid-19. In addition, two Personal Care team members and one Healthcare team member have also reported positive tests for Covid-19. Outbreak testing and mitigation strategies continue for Oregon House in Healthcare, and for Lititz & Aspen Houses in Personal Care.
November 7, 2022
Two Healthcare residents tested positive for Covid-19 on Nov. 4th and one Personal Care resident tested positive for Covid-19 on Nov. 5th. All residents are doing well. Also, a Personal Care team member has tested positive for Covid-19 today, Nov. 7th. Outbreak precautions continue in Oregon House and Lititz House.
November 2, 2022
On Nov. 2nd, two residents in Healthcare tested positive for Covid-19 during outbreak testing. Other residents tested negative and team members are being tested as well.
November 1, 2022
Over the weekend, a Healthcare caregiver tested positive for COVID-19. Affected Healthcare residents have been tested twice, and unfortunately, one resident was found to also be positive . Interventions have been put in place to minimize exposure to other residents. Also, on Nov. 1st, a Personal Care team member reported a positive test . Those residents and team members who may have been exposed will be tested per current guidelines. Both Oregon House and Lititz House are currently under investigation for outbreak as a result of these cases.
October 27, 2022
Today we have learned of 2 Healthcare team members who have tested positive for COVID-19 on home tests. There have been no exposures to Healthcare residents related to these cases.
October 19, 2022
On October 19th, a Personal Care team member has reported a positive covid test at home. This is a possible exposure for Cedar House residents and Covid outbreak protocol is being implemented.
October 18, 2022
Today, 10/18/2022, a Healthcare team member has reported a positive Covid test taken at home. There have been no exposures to healthcare residents or staff as a result of this positive case.
September 26, 2022
On September 24th, a healthcare team member tested positive for Covid-19 and are self-isolating at home. Healthcare residents who may have been exposed will be tested and monitored.
September 23, 2022
On September 23rd, a Healthcare team member tested positive for Covid-19 and is self-isolating at home. This case does not have significant risk for exposure to residents in either Healthcare or Personal Care.
September 22, 2022
A dining team member in Healthcare/Personal Care has tested positive for Covid-19 and will isolate at home. Team members who may have had contact with this individual will complete testing. It is believed that the risk of exposure to residents is insignificant.
September 21, 2022
On September 21st, two team members tested positive for Covid-19 and are self-isolating at home. One of the positive test results impacts the Personal Care area. Residents who might have been exposed have been tested and are negative.
September 19, 2022
On September 19th, a Facilities team member tested positive for Covid-19 and is self-isolating at home. This case does not have significant risk for exposure to residents in either Healthcare or Personal Care.
September 13, 2022
Since last update, several Healthcare team members have tested positive for Covid-19 and are isolating at home. These include a caregiver, a contracted worker, and an ancillary services employee. Residents who might have been exposed have been tested and are negative. Also, a Personal Care team member tested positive on Sept. 12th but wasn’t at work in the days preceding the positive test, so no exposure to Personal Care residents.
September 9, 2022
On September 8th, a Campus Services team member tested positive for Covid-19 and is self-isolating at home. This case does not have significant risk for exposure to residents in either Healthcare or Personal Care.
September 6, 2022
Several team members have reported positive covid tests over the past weekend. For Healthcare, Oregon House is currently being investigated for outbreak due to exposure. Residents all tested negative. For Personal Care, all 4 households are currently in outbreak status due to positive team members. Testing is occurring, no positive residents have been identified.
September 2, 2022
Since last update, two office workers for Landis Homes have tested positive. These cases are not a risk for residents and do not require additional testing in the facility. Also, Personal Care area has two nursing team members self-isolating at home due to positive Covid tests. Outbreak testing is being completed for residents in Birch and Aspen households -so far, these have been negative.
August 29, 2022
An ancillary team member in Healthcare has tested positive for Covid-19 and will isolate at home. Also, a Personal Care volunteer has tested positive for Covid-19. In both cases, it is believed that the risk of exposure to residents is insignificant.
August 26, 2022
A Healthcare team member has reported a positive test for Covid-19. This case is a potential exposure to Conestoga House. All eligible residents tested negative today.
August 15, 2022
A Personal Care team member tested positive for COVID-19 while at home on quarantine. No exposure to Personal Care residents. Also, a Healthcare team member reports a positive test for COVID-19. This team member did not work during the infectious period, so no exposure to Healthcare residents.
August 11, 2022
Since Aug. 5, a combined total of 3 team members have tested positive for Covid-19 in Healthcare and Personal Care. One Personal Care resident has also tested positive for Covid-19. Infection prevention strategies are ongoing.
August 5, 2022
Since last update, a total of 6 Healthcare team members have tested positive for Covid-19. Outbreak testing continues for affected residents and team members.
August 1, 2022
A Healthcare resident tested positive on July 26th and is doing well. In Personal Care, a resident tested positive on July 29th. Residents living in affected households in both areas have been tested and are negative. Team member testing was negative for the week ending July 31st.
July 25, 2022
A Healthcare team member tested positive for Covid-19 on a routine test prior to working. This case did not cause any exposures to residents in Healthcare.
July 21, 2022
Since July 21st, a total of 3 Healthcare team members have tested positive for Covid-19. Only one of these cases had contact with Healthcare residents. Affected residents will be tested and monitored for symptoms. Other infection control strategies remain in place.
July 20, 2022
Since July 12th, one resident and one caregiver have tested positive in Healthcare. In Personal Care, one team member has tested positive. An ancillary team member has also tested positive but seldom has direct contact with residents. Any possible resident exposure is being managed per current guidance.
July 11, 2022
A Healthcare resident tested positive for Covid-19 since last report. Other residents have been tested and were negative. All are being monitored closely.
July 8, 2022
Since last update, a total of four Healthcare team members have tested positive for Covid-19. Residents who may have been exposed have tested negative and will continue to be monitored. Today a contracted worker for Personal Care tested positive. Personal Care residents who may have been exposed will be tested and monitored.

On June 30th, a Healthcare team member reported a positive home test for Covid-19. Healthcare residents who may have been exposed have been tested and are negative for Covid-19. We will continue to monitor.
June 29, 2022
As of June 29th, three additional Healthcare residents have tested positive for COVID. One resident on June 28th and two residents on June 29th. Testing and mitigation efforts continue.
June 27, 2022
Since our last update on June 24th four team members, one Personal Care resident, and one Healthcare resident have tested positive for COVID-19. Outbreak testing continues for affected team members. Healthcare and Personal Care residents in affected areas will continue testing. We continue to utilize mitigation efforts and monitor resident condition.
June 24, 2022
Today we have learned of 3 team members who tested positive for Covid-19. Two work in Healthcare, and one works in both Healthcare and Personal Care but has minimal contact with residents. In addition, one Healthcare resident tested positive for Covid-19 today after developing symptoms. Healthcare residents in affected areas have been tested as a precaution and were negative. We continue to monitor all residents to ensure their well-being.
June 21, 2022
Since the last update, three Healthcare team members and one Personal Care team member have had positive Covid-19 test results and are self-isolating at home. Two of these team members did not work at all while infectious. The remaining two had limited contact with residents during the days prior to their positive tests. We continue to monitor all residents for symptoms of Covid-19 at least daily.

Since the last update, 4 Healthcare team members and 3 Personal Care team members have tested positive for Covid-19. Outbreak testing continues for households where exposures have occurred. Other strategies remain in place to mitigate risk to residents in both areas.

A total of 3 Personal Care team members reported positive Covid tests over the past weekend. In addition, one Healthcare team member and a Healthcare/Personal Care volunteer tested positive for Covid-19 on June 6th. Strategies, including testing and symptom screening, are in place to ensure the health and well-being of residents.
May 31, 2022
On 5/28/22, two Healthcare Dining team members reported positive COVID tests. And on 5/29/22, a Personal Care team member reported a COVID-positive home test. All are recuperating at home. It is believed that there is little risk to residents in both areas.

Since 5/13/2022 we have learned of three additional Healthcare team members who have tested positive for COVID-19. In Personal Care three additional Personal Care residents tested positive as a result of outbreak testing. Affected residents are being followed closely.

Since yesterday’s update, we have learned of two additional ancillary Healthcare team members who have tested positive for Covid-19 but the risk of exposure to Healthcare residents is considered to be low. In Personal Care, a team member reported testing positive at home and is self-isolating. One additional Personal Care resident tested positive on outbreak testing today. Affected residents are being followed closely.
May 11, 2022
Since 5/6/22, a total of 11 residents have tested positive for COVID-19 in Personal Care. Residents are being managed in their household, none have been hospitalized at this point. There were also a total of 3 Personal Care team members who reported positive COVID test results. They are self-isolating at home. Today, during routine testing, 2 Healthcare team members tested positive as well. One worked during the preceding two days so that is a possible exposure to some residents. Affected residents will be tested according to guidance from Pa DOH.
May 6, 2022
In the past week, one Healthcare resident and one Healthcare team member tested positive for Covid-19. The team member is isolating at home and the resident has fully recovered. Today in Personal Care, it was reported that one resident has tested positive for Covid-19 after a known exposure. All other residents in the affected household have tested negative. Precautions are in place to protect residents and staff.
April 28, 2022
Today we learned that two Healthcare team members have tested positive for Covid-19. These team members did not work while infectious so no exposure has occurred to Healthcare residents or staff.
April 19, 2022
One Healthcare team member reported a positive Covid test on 4/18/22. This team member did not work while infectious so there has been no exposure to residents or other team members.
April 11, 2022
Today a contracted worker notified us of a positive Covid test. This worker may have exposed two residents in Personal Care, and several residents in Healthcare. All affected residents were tested as a precaution and are negative for Covid-19 at this time. We will continue to monitor and follow up as needed.

One ancillary Healthcare team member reports a positive covid test today. This team member did not work during the infectious period.

There have been no new cases of Covid-19 since the last update. All Healthcare and Personal Care residents are currently Covid-free.
March 8, 2022
A Healthcare team member has reported a positive Covid test and will self-isolate at home. Due to possible exposure, focused outbreak testing will be completed for residents and certain team members in Ephrata House. Also, Healthcare has admitted a resident who recently tested positive for Covid-19. Transmission-based precautions are in effect.

February 25, 2022
Since Feb. 22nd, we are happy to report that there have been no new cases of Covid-19 among Healthcare and Personal Care team members this week. Unfortunately, one Healthcare resident did pass away with Covid-19. One Personal Care resident remains in transmission-based precautions. The OUTBREAK in Healthcare and most of Personal Care has ended and routine testing is now able to be scaled back starting next week.
February 22, 2022
Since Feb. 15th, Healthcare residents who were recently Covid-positive have recovered with the exception of one resident, admitted from outside of Healthcare, who remains in transmission-based precautions. At this point, there is only one Healthcare team member currently off with Covid-19. Previously reported team members have recovered and returned to work.
In Personal Care, there is currently one Covid-positive resident in transmission-based precautions. There is also one team member off with Covid-19 who did not work at all during the infectious period.
February 15, 2022
Since the last posting on Feb. 9th, there have been no new cases of COVID-19 among Healthcare or Personal Care residents. A total of 3 residents remain in transmission-based precautions for now but are doing well. During OUTBREAK testing, Healthcare team members have all tested negative. Only one Personal Care team member has tested positive since Feb. 9th. A total of 3 team members remain off work due to Covid-positive tests -all are doing well and expected to recover. There have been no hospitalizations for residents or team members related to COVID-19.
February 9, 2022
Since the last posting, a total of 8 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Healthcare and Personal Care. These include 4 Healthcare team members and 1 resident. In Personal Care, 1 new team member and 2 residents. All are reporting mild symptoms. Previously identified residents in both care areas have either recovered or are recovering without complications.
February 2, 2022
In Personal Care, 10 new residents have tested positive for COVID-19. In Healthcare, 4 new team members have tested positive during scheduled testing from various departments. 1 Landis Communities team member has also tested positive.
Outbreak testing continues for Healthcare and Personal Care residents and team members.
January 31, 2022
Since the last update on Jan. 26th, in Healthcare, 1 new resident has tested positive for Covid-19. Two more residents have recovered and moved back to their regular healthcare households. A total of 4 Healthcare team members have tested positive for Covid-19, including one volunteer, one RN, one Dining team member, and a CNA. Team members are isolating at home.
In Personal Care, 6 new residents have tested positive bringing the total to 8 residents. They are all in transmission-based precautions and strategies have been implemented to reduce transmission to others. For Personal Care team members, one LPN has tested positive, since the last report, and is isolating at home.
January 26, 2022
As of January 26, 2022, two additional Healthcare residents tested positive. Six additional Healthcare team members have tested positive.
For the month of January 2022, two Personal Care residents, 10 Healthcare residents, and 104 team members across Landis Homes campus have tested positive. Five of the positive Healthcare residents have fully recovered. Five remain in transmission-based precautions.

January 21, 2022
5 new cases of COVID-19 identified on 1/20/22 in Healthcare, Personal Care, and in Eden East. These team members have been asked to isolate at home and we will continue with outbreak testing for residents and team members at this time.
January 20, 2022
13 new cases of COVID-19 identified on 1/19/22 in Eden East or at another provider based on symptoms. These team members have been asked to isolate at home and will follow return-to-work guidance.
For the month of January, 83 team members have tested positive for COVID-19.
January 18, 2022
One new case of COVID-19 identified on 1-17-2022. This case represents a HC team member from Landis Homes. We continue with outbreak testing for residents and team members at this time.

January 16, 2022
One new case of COVID-19 identified on 1-16-2022. This case represents a HC team member from Landis Homes. We continue with outbreak testing for residents and team members at this time.
January 14, 2022
12 new cases of COVID-19 identified on 1/12/22 and 1 new case reported for 1/13/2022 at the time of notice. These cases represent team members from Landis Homes Campus in multiple departments and all levels of care. We continue with outbreak testing for residents and team members at this time.
